Story Behind This Chai

Wayanad is a district in the southern state of India, Kerala. Standing tall on the western ghats, in God's Own Country. Untouched and unexplored, this place produces high-quality spices and rice, cardamom being one of them.

For ages, Kerala is known to grow the best quality cardamom in the world. Also known as the queen of spices, cardamom requires almost constant rainfall. As you start to enjoy the rains and the backwaters, a look around for a cup of cardamom chai is inevitable, making you arrive at a Chai Kada.
