How To Steep

Step 1

Heat 150ml of water to 85–90°C (185-194°F).

Step 2

Measure 1.5 tsp (2 g) of tea into the teapot or infuser.

Step 3

Pour the hot water over the leaves and cover.

Step 4

Let it steep for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Strain and pour. These leaves give their best in one steep.

Serving

Enjoy it plain, or add milk, honey or lemon to suit your taste.

I love tea, all different kinds, but I have never tasted anything like this! The flavor is so smooth, so fresh. The customer service is also outstanding!!

A very nice malty Assam with rich favor!

I have tried multiple Assam teas from not only Teabox but from other providers. This one is an excellent Assam tea, full of flavor containing tasting notes of malt, dates, and honey. I enjoy it hot or cold (iced tea in the summer). I highly recommend this Assam. Steep for 2-3 minutes is my recommendation.

I love the teas, their fragrance and taste. Prompt delivery, although with some communication hiccup, but in the end all worked out well.
I would order again - this time some of the green teas - they are still my favorites. Especially because they are organic. That's the only thing I miss about the black ones. Happy customer :-)

Taster's notes called it an "exceptional brew" and I have to agree. I love the balance of the brisk malt with the fruity notes.

A Flavourful and aromatic cup with just the right amount of maltiness

The tea is very aromatic and flavourful. You will get the signature malty flavour in your milk tea with lots of aroma of flowers and leaves. Very good service from teabox. But colour of the milk tea could have been better.

A fresh delicious cup...

A fresh delicious cup of Assam tea. Sometimes I add a little vanilla bean . The taste of the tea is full and wonderful with just milk.

Flavorful and full-bodied

First time trying this tea and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a very flavorful, full-bodied tea that stands up to milk and honey. I don't detect a lot of malt in this year's offering but I can easily overlook that because it has so much more going for it. I actually think it's better than more expensive Assams!

Nutty!

High malt, nutty, sweet, rich, multilayered, strong, bright. I was surprised at this assam's complexity. Will definitely try again.

Lighter but flavourful Assam

Broad and malty assam with plenty of high-notes, a bit lighter than some of the earthier single estate assams, but more flavoursome than some of the lesser assams too.
