Exceptional first flush tea

Purchased this as part of three First Flush premium teas from 2023 season. Both this and the one from Seeyok garden evoke a subdued sense of sugarcaney sweetness, a taste profile that is exceedingly rare amongst Darjeeeling tea’s and last found only during the 2017-18 season. Exceptional tea. Highly recommended.

Very inconsistent

The first couple times I ordered this tea. It tasted great. The last batch I ordered was really bad. It has a stong smell of betel leaves and no flavor when brewed.

Satisfying Brew

Samabeong is one of my favorite afternoon teas. It is as satisfying as an Assam but not as high in caffeine.
