Inspired by the breathtaking Nilgiri mountains and a blooming rose garden during their return from the Glendale tea estate, our team was inspired to encapsulate the same into a tea blend.

This unique tea is processed at the estates of Nilgiri specially for Teabox. The process involves meticulously layering the black tea leaves with delicate jasmine flowers, a painstaking practice requiring the utmost care and attention. This artful infusion is a multi-step journey taking 3-4 days involving numerous rounds of infusion, wherein the black tea leaves lay exposed beneath a canopy of jasmine flowers, allowing the tea to gradually absorb the subtle, mellow essence of the jasmine blossoms.

Once this harmonious infusion is achieved at the estate, the tea is transported to our facility in Siliguri. Post-which our master blenders infuse it with dried rose petals and cardamom, to enhance the tea's complexity and aroma. An ode to nature's beauty and grace.

Love Them but...

Love the English Breakfast and the Earl Grey. I will buy those again. I did by the Rose black tea. It tastes like a rose. I was hoping it would taste more like black tea. I am not a flowery, herbal, hibiscus-loving tea drinker. I like my tea strong and cynical... like me. The English and Earl teas are fabulous and I try to ration them as they are strong but not bitter... also like me. I brought the Rose tea to work. My teammates love it! They pretend to be boughie and drink with their pinkies extended. We manage a performing arts center... so pretend boughie is right in their wheelhouse.

I was sent this tea as a sample along with a few other sample teas and by far this one has been my favorite! The rose flavor with black tea is so distinct and pleasant. I enjoy this tea at all times of the day and it's absolutely refreshing. Pair it with dark chocolate, or other desserts for a big dose of hygge!
