Nestled in the heart of Assam's renowned tea-producing region, Dikom Tea Estate is celebrated for its rich history and exceptional teas. Established in 1875 by Dutch settlers, Dikom's legacy is intertwined with the native Camellia Assamica plants that thrive in its fertile soils. The estate owes its name to the indigenous Bodo-Kachari tribe, who recognized the unique sweetness of the waters from the Sessa River that flows through the garden. In the Bodo language, "Di" means water and "Kom" means sweet, a fitting tribute to the estate's distinctively sweet and flavorful brews.

The estate spans an area where 70% of the tea bushes are high-quality clones like P126A, N436, S3A3, T3A3, CP1 and Tenali 17, contributing to the complexity and character of its teas. Renowned for its meticulous cultivation practices, including soil enrichment and integrated pest management, Dikom consistently produces tippy, bright, and malty Orthodox teas that are famous worldwide.
