Originally known as Rangdoo Estate, Okayti boasts a storied legacy that traces back to the era when India’s finest teas were auctioned in London. Legend has it that the London tea auctioneers tasted Rangdoo’s teas and, impressed with their quality, officially endorsed them, leading to the estate’s esteemed title of "OK Tea." Since then, Okayti has become synonymous with exceptional teas.

Nestled in the picturesque Mirik Valley of Darjeeling and established in the early 1870s, Okayti is spread over 1600 acres at elevations ranging between 4,000 and 6,200 feet.
