Perched in the scenic Kurseong valley at elevations between 4,500 and 5,200 feet, Giddapahar Tea Estate has been crafting fine teas since 1881. Generations of the Shaw family have nurtured this historic estate, best known for its traditional Chinary black teas. Named ‘Eagle’s Mountain,’ its mist-laden slopes provide the perfect terroir for teas of remarkable character.

While Giddapahar’s legacy lies in its century-old China bushes, the estate has gradually introduced young clonal varietals, bringing a new dimension to its offerings.
