Taste
A lively, well-rounded cup with a velvety-smooth mouthfeel.
As you take the first sip, distinct notes of stone-fruits coat the palate which gradually gains strength as you make your way through the cup. Intermittently, you can discern warm, nutty tinctures akin to chestnut interlaced with subtle honeyed notes around the edges, which gradually subside to reveal a delicate woody-oaky frame towards the finish.
You can discern fresh tagy hints coming through in the aftertaste, adding an element of lively crispness to the cup. A phenomenal experience of Summer Chinary black teas from this vintage plantation.
